Sarah Stevens

Chair

It’s my hope that St. Ives makes the most of this opportunity and that the money benefits those that need it most – It’s challenging but I’m really enjoying it.! I’m not interested in the politics and I have nothing to gain from being on the board, I just thought it was time to put my money where my mouth is. I have lots of skills to bring to the table and at the heart of this is working alongside communities and developing partnerships with organisations to get things done.

St Ives is my home and fishing is in my DNA. I work full time and have two young daughters who attend school in the town. I appreciate time is precious nevertheless please do get involved if you can spare the time.

We are looking for more Directors to join the St. Ives Town Deal Board

St. Ives is one of 100 towns selected across the UK to access £25 million to deliver great ideas to enhance the community and add to economic success. The St. Ives Town Deal Board is looking for Directors to join the board and add their voice to how the money can be spent and deliver ideas. The board is particularly keen to add voices from families, the elderly or vulnerable and young people. If you feel you could join the conversation (you don’t need to have ever been on a board before) then contact Lucy Davies from The Town Deal for more information or a chat. This is your deal for your town so get involved.
