Major milestone for St Ives Town Deal as LiveWest becomes final project to sign contract
Exciting plans to create a green retrofit revolution in St Ives by improving energy efficiency in 200 social housing properties in the town have taken a big step forward this week after LiveWest signed its Town Deal Funding Agreement.

A public update event exhibiting the latest details about all the projects which are being developed as part of the St Ives Low Carbon Transport Strategy and the timetable for delivering the different elements is being held at the town’s library between 2pm and 7pm on Wednesday, 11 September.

Meet Youth Engagement Project officers Laura Peach and Rosana Cox who are working with the St Ives Town Deal projects to ensure that young people in the town become more involved with and benefit from the programme.

With work on the second phase of the Town Deal funded project to refurbish and extend St Ives Theatre now well underway, it was great to have the opportunity to host a visit from representatives from the St Ives Town Deal Board and Cornwall Council to see the progress which is being made.

Key milestone for St Ives RFC project
The planning application for the St Ives Rugby Club project to reposition and refurbish clubhouse facilities to provide a modern clubhouse with two full size sports pitches for use by the club and local community is now available for viewing on Cornwall Council’s online planning register
