Work to provide new signs and landscaping around Tempest Roundabout near Lelant will begin on Monday, 19 January.
Update on new road layout scheme 2 December 2025
A huge thank you to everyone who has been supporting the new traffic restrictions in the centre of the town since the changes to the road layout came into operation two weeks ago.

New road layout to be trialled in St Ives
Road users are being urged to slow down, look around and approach with caution as changes to the current road layout on Tregenna Hill in the centre of St Ives are trialled from November.
New bike shed encourages St Ives Junior School pupils to swap car journeys for pedal power
Pupils from St Ives Junior School have welcomed the arrival of their brand-new bike shed which has been provided with funding from the St Ives Low Carbon Transport Strategy, part of St Ives Town Deal.
Update on Leach Pottery transformation project
Work is progressing well on the exciting project to transform and improve the world-famous Leach Pottery for its next 100 years, with the first phase – the construction of the new Learning and Production Centre – due to be completed early next year.

Work on the final phase of the scheme to improve the Malakoff open space in St Ives is due to start at the beginning of October.
Work officially begins on delivering new high quality sports facilities in St Ives.
