From providing grants for improving shopfronts in the town centre, creating new workspaces and renovating derelict buildings, to helping existing local creative, digital, construction, trade and manufacturing companies to expand or diversify the services they offer, or funding premises for new start-ups, the St Ives Town Deal Enterprise Grant Scheme is playing a key role in supporting local businesses and organisations.
Launched in 2022, the aim of the scheme is to boost the local economy and support sustainable regeneration. Open to all small and medium sized businesses in the St Ives Town Deal area, capital grants have been available for both existing businesses and start-up businesses. These include grants for building works and the purchase of new equipment.

Three highly successful rounds of the scheme have seen over £2 million allocated to local projects, which have committed to deliver more than 70 jobs.
To date 68 projects have been approved and their contracts issued, with 22 of these projects now complete. A further 18 projects from Round 3 are currently going through the final decision stages with outcomes expected shortly.
Grants have been awarded to projects from a wide range of sectors, with funding ranging from £2,636 for the smallest to £150,000 to the largest. Details of all the projects which have received grants are published on the St Ives Town Deal website.
